Peek-A-Boo

This movie was too cute not to share. Connor loves to play Peek-a-boo with Ethan when he is in his high chair. Ethan is always just a second behind . . . it is too cute. Poor Brian is trying to feed Ethan at the same time.

Horseboy

Connor & Ethan are going to be cowboys for Halloween. Connor absolutely loves this idea! He loves putting on his hat, getting out his stick horse, and going for a ride. He's been having a problem with the idea of cow boys though. He doesn't ride a cow, so why do we call it a cowboy? So today, he came up with the solution. "MOM! I'm a horse-boy!" Well put Connor . . . if only everyone else could latch on to your logic. And yes, if you are wondering, Connor is still running around half naked.

Spiders

We have really been capitalizing on the animal food for Connor. Here's a picture of the spider's that we made. They turned out super cute, and delicious!

Alligators & Monkeys

Here is how last night's dinner conversation played out:
Brian: (While scooping some rice onto Connor's plate) Connor, this is alligators.
Connor: Alligators?
Brian: (Scooping on sweet & sour chicken) This is monkeys.
Connor: Monkeys? (Taking a big bite) MMMMM!!!! 'Licious! (His way of saying delicious) I like monkeys & alligators!

I'll be darned if he didn't eat all of his monkeys and alligators and go on for seconds! Tonight I believe we will be having elephants and rhinos, or something to that extent. I've never seen the kid pack it away as when he believes he is eating exotic animals!

Snakes

Last night we had snakes for dinner. Connor, my super picky eater who won't eat anything, but will down gallons of chocolate milk every day, gobbled them all up. Who knew? Apparently I just had to tell him that they were snakes and he would eat them?!

Handsome Church-goers

As I was getting my boys ready for church this week, they were just too handsome! I had to snap a picture of each of them! It was finally cool enough to put on their little vests with their church clothes and the effect was sensational! What handsome little men!

Potty Training

I hope this doesn't jinx it, but today has been a successful day in potty training!!! Who knew I would have so much joy about something like this! No accidents yet today and Connor has successfully used the potty! Our success has hinged solely on the fact that Connor's lower half is stark-raving naked. I don't know what we are going to do when I have to actually put clothes back on him and go places, I guess we will deal with that when we come to that point.

In a Minute!!!

I should've known that phrase was going to come back to kick me in the butt! Seriously, what person likes to hear, "In a minute!" It has now become Connor's favorite phrase, probably since Connor, the most patient child in the world, hears it once or twice, or even 7000 times a day. Well, yesterday Brian asked Connor to come and set the table for dinner and Connor replied back with, "In a minute!" For most people who know Connor well, they know that sometimes he is quite lazy in his speech and doesn't ennuciate as well as he should. Because I'm home with him all day and have become quite used to hearing that phrase, I knew what he was saying, even though it came out sounding like, "meaner meaner". Brian, on the other hand, had no idea, so when I told him that in a minute was really meaner meaner, Connor looked at us and ennuciated, quite crisply, "IN A MIN-UTE!" Luckily, the remedy for this is actually waiting a minute and then telling him that it has been a minute. He's usually quite receptive after having the minute to himself that he requested. I have a feeling this is something that he probably picked up from me. Sometimes you just need a minute!
